Fulfil youth event

This summer's Fulfil for 11-18s is on Friday 28th June. Bringing churches together for a great evening of Christian music, entertainment and hearing about Jesus.

At Mount Zion Community Church, 70 Thomas Street, Aston B6 4TN. Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

We welcome...

Rickeal Rix is a young, Birmingham based Christian rap artist. Her lyrics are rich and gospel-centred alongside her rhythmic barrs. Rix performs and speaks at churches and Christian events. She is passionate about seeing young people live out their calling in God. Rix is also an illustrator and visual artist at The Unapologetic Creative.

House Worship is a new band that performs at events across the UK. Their strapline is: ‘One house, one worship’. For them, worshipping God should be our home, our way of life.

Mike Tyler is a knowledgeable and skilled preacher and youth worker. He is able to communicate the riches of God’s word in accessible ways for young people. For a living, Mike trains and develops secondary school teachers.

In addition, a local church youth group will be leading us in prayer.

The event starts at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm) and concludes at 9.30pm.

Fulfil is for ages 11-18. Whilst we are happy to admit Year 6s we cannot admit children younger than that. We aim to make the event relevant to young people across the age spectrum.

Fulfil is an interdenominational event for Birmingham (and beyond) churches. It is usually held 3 times a year and is attended by up to two dozen churches of varying denominations. Fulfil provides an ideal opportunity for young people from different groups and backgrounds to come together to enjoy a fun night out in a different setting to the norm; a chance to see the wider Birmingham Kingdom picture and to be encouraged in faith as young people worship Jesus together and hear and apply the gospel message – which is shared at every event – to their lives.

That’s the aim of the event: to cause young people – whether Christian or not - to grow in their understanding of Jesus. Whatever their starting point they will be challenged by the gospel at Fulfil and what it means to live as a follower of Jesus. We seek to support youth leaders in their outreach and discipleship of young people. The event is an ideal opportunity for young people to invite along non-Christian friends and to meet young people from other churches.

If you are new to Fulfil watch our short video What’s Fulfil all about? You can get a taste of Fulfil from previous events on our BCM Youth YouTube page.

The following Fulfil will be on 15th November 2024.
