‘Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift’
Wendy has a big heart. She is what we might call a ‘giving person’. A busy nurse during the day, and yet she gives one evening a week to wash the feet of homeless guests at our Care Centre, to look after their physical health and to pray with them. Her simple act of care and love has touched many and a number have been brought to tears.
GIVING IS AT THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS. For those of us who are able to, we share gifts with those whom we love, be it family or friends. We give gifts because God loved us so much that He gave us all the gift of His Son when He sent Jesus to be born at Bethlehem that first Christmas.
For many in our city Christmas is a lonely, sad and uncomfortable time of year. For over 52 years Birmingham City Mission has supported people of all ages through this challenging holiday period.
We would ask you once again to support us financially with a ‘Christmas gift’ so that we can help the most disadvantaged in our city. If you would like to give, please click on the green MAKE A DONATION button on the right of this screen. Alternatively, download the BCM Christmas Appeal 2018 and send the completed form on the second page to us at Birmingham City Mission, The Clock Tower, 2 Langdon Street, Birmingham B9 4BP.
Thank you for your kindness and may you experience the joy and peace that only God can give.
