The interdenominational event for Birmingham churches – which is held 3 times a year and attended by up to 30 churches of varying denominations – is an ideal opportunity for young people to enjoy a fun night out, see the wider Birmingham Kingdom picture, and be encouraged in their faith as they hear and apply the gospel message in a different setting to the norm. The event is also a great chance for your youth to invite along non-Christian friends and to meet young people from other churches. In addition, it allows church youth leaders and other organisations to network and be resourced in their youth ministry.
Amy is an esteemed international author, speaker and theologian who is passionate about presenting and defending the Christian faith in a culturally relevant way. Amy isn’t only an academic; she can connect with the ordinary person and speak on a popular level. Amy is also very adept at speaking to young people and has regularly done so at gatherings such as Soul Survivor over the years. Amy authored the bestselling, ‘Why Trust The Bible?’ She has recently produced ‘Where is God in All the Suffering?’ We look forward to hearing from Amy at Fulfil.
Guvna B is a double MOBO award winning Grime/rap artist from London. He is also an author and broadcaster. He has released 10 albums, 2 books and has produced segments for the BBC and a football pundit for Sky Sports News’. He speaks into situations that affect young people from underprivileged communities. Guvna is well known to Fulfil having come to two previous events.
To minimise the risk of COVID-10 we are encouraging people to test at home before coming to the event. We are also encouraging groups to wear masks where possible. There is space for people to spread out across the hall and there should be adequate ventilation.
