BCM has worked with Birmingham’s homeless community since its very beginning in 1966, offering food, friendship and support to some of our city’s most vulnerable and marginalised people.
The BCM homeless drop-in centre, called the Care Centre, is open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Monday and Tuesday afternoons in Birmingham’s city centre.
In the evenings a three-course meal is served and there is a talk sharing the Christian message. During Wednesday evenings a nursed-led clinic operates. There are further plans to increase the Care Centre’s opening hours in the afternoons and evenings. As well as these services, day trips are organised for our clients. Our aim is always for the Care Centre to be a place where the lonely and marginalised can find friendship and comfort.
