The work at BCM relies on the support of churches, whether that be praying, financial help, fundraising or volunteering. From teams gift wrapping for the Christmas ToyLink project to groups taking part in the annual Sponsored Sleepout, there are hundreds of ways your church as a whole or its home groups, youth groups and Sunday School, can be involved.
Here are just a few ways your church can support the Mission:
invite a BCM staff member to speak at your church
We would love to come and tell your church or group about the Mission. If you would like a BCM staff member to come and give an up-to-date presentation at your church, email office@birminghamcitymission.co.uk or call 0121 766 6603.
Adopt BCM as your charity for the year
Focus on BCM for a whole year, supporting us in prayer, fundraising and volunteering. Let us know your church or group is adopting BCM and we can help you with ideas, resources and information about events you could get involved in.
set up a food box in your church
The food bank at the Resource Centre welcomes donations of non-perishable food year round. How about setting up a food box in your church so people can drop in a tin and packet each week?
