Leaving a legacy

Please consider remembering BCM in your will and help us share God's love in Birmingham for another 6 decades.

BCM has been assisting the poor and marginalised of the city for 60 years. Through our social action projects supporting the homeless, elderly, children and vulnerable, together with the work of our Missionaries who reach out with the gospel, tens of thousands of people have been helped during these decades.

I have had the privilege of working at Birmingham City Mission for over 50 of these years and so have been conscious of the generosity of many people who have financially supported our work. One of the great joys that we have experienced has been on receiving a legacy. It has often come at the right time, and enabled us to move forward with a particular project, or given us an element of security for the near future. I always find it moving to remind myself that, before we received the legacy, God had led someone to think about us and remember us in their will.

I would ask you to consider leaving the Mission a legacy in your will so that our great city may continue to hear the good news about Jesus, and so that the expressions of God’s love through our projects might continue for another six decades.
