My year at the Mission
Rigtje Helena Hommes has been a trainee City Missionary at BCM for the past year. Her time at the Mission has now come to an end and she will be missed. Here she shares about her experience.

It has been my utmost privilege and joy that the Lord brought me to BCM. I am so grateful for the way I was taken into this family of brothers and sisters in Christ. I have learned much with my head, but even more I can truly say that my year has encouraged and shaped me. It has made me much more a woman of prayer. BCM has a very special place in my heart and it always will.
It is sad to leave and I’m already missing everyone dearly. Nevertheless I give thanks to our God and Father who has planned every good work for his children to do since before the beginning of time. This too I have come to see at BCM, that the providence of the Lord is magnificent. And I’m excited to tell you I am starting a two-year part-time course at Bible school in September.
I thank the Lord our God for you, every person that is faithfully praying for the Mission. Because I know what is said within BCM is true, that 'if we don’t pray, we might as well go home, because prayer is the work'. May the Lord bless you and keep you, singing songs of gladness over you.
